Quick Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1½ teaspoons salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

How to make Quick Pickled Red Onions

  1. Combine vinegar, sugar, salt and water in a bowl or jar.

  2. Whisk until the sugar and salt dissolve. 

  3. Add the sliced onion and set aside at room temperature for 1 hour.

  4. Then pop them in the fridge (for up to two weeks) or enjoy straight away.
