Savoury Pastry Pinwheels
Pizza Pastry Pinwheels
Ingredients:
1 sheet vegan flaky pastry (e.g. Richmond Foods)
1T plant-based pizza sauce (e.g. Leggos)
6 olives, chopped
50g Angel Food dairy-free mozzarella, grated
Steps to make Pizza Pastry Pinwheels
Preheat oven to 180C.
Spread pizza sauce evenly across pastry.
Sprinkle over chopped olives and grated mozza.
Roll up tightly, sealing edge with water.
Cut roll into 16 slices and lay them on their sides on a lined baking sheet.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Corn and Cheddar Pinwheels
Ingredients:
1 sheet vegan flaky pastry (e.g. Richmond Foods)
70g corn mix (50:50 creamed corn and tinned corn)* waste buster tip – use the rest of the tinned corn to make a delicious soup
50g Angel Food dairy-free cheddar, grated
1T red onion, finely diced
Steps to make Corn and Cheddar Pinwheels
Preheat oven to 180C.
Spread corn mix evenly across pastry.
Sprinkle over diced onion and grated cheddar.
Roll tightly, sealing edge with water.
Cut roll into 16 slices and lay them on their sides on a lined baking sheet.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
